Indigo Brass Denim Get Down Crop Jacket

Introducing our 'Get Down' denim crop jacket, made to be the perfect compliment to our Uprock style. The Get Down is our take on the crop denim jacket, reminiscent of the oversized 80's style all the rage by musicians and fashion pop icons of that time. Our version though has extra long puff sleeves accented by 16 pleats at the cuffs that ballon out when pulled up or in movement. Two signature design details that we kept from the Uprock jacket are the flip up storm collar closure and two interior pockets perfect for a phone, wallet, or a day/night out without your purse.

For the Get Down jacket we used a classic golden thread for the topstitching. Most of the jacket is finished with flat felled seams as well, making the interior as immaculate and durable as the exterior. Complete with 4-hole rimmed antique brass metal buttons that compliment the gold thread.

The Indigo Brass denim from Tavex Mills Spain division is truly a dead stock gem of a find. Much like our Jade Sapphire Jacket the color comes from a two tone warp and weft. The denim in this particular denim has an indigo warp and a brass tone weft, giving it a unique two tone appearance that's especially present in daylight. The clear coating gives it a light subtle sheen that settles down with a single wash. At 9.5oz it's the perfect weight that'll be good for cooler evenings and early Fall. The composition of 98% cotton with 2% spandex is almost unnoticeable but definitely a factor of comfort in movement when out and about.

MEASUREMENTS AND SIZING

The fit is intended to be oversized, so please order your normal alpha size. All measurements are shown in inches. Chest is measured 1" below the bottom armhole straight across to the opposite bottom armhole. Length is measured from the center back where the collar and body seam meet to the bottom edge. Shoulder is measured across from seam to seam. Sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the edge of the cuff.

Care Instructions

Cold Wash and Hang Dry. After the initial wash the clear coat washes off to a more true color and a dryer hand that'll soften up again later with wear.
